Wow, probably costs more than that to ship them. Are they of the small chamber variety?...

Interesting. Should be what, 49cc heads? What valve size? I did some reading the other day, early 289 heads had small valves... 67 or 68 started the 1.78/1.45 valve size. Yes, they *were* smaller than that...

T.L.: Yes, they are the small chambers. Shipping is around $50.

    Yellow72Mavrick: Really? How much? :evilsmile

maverick75: I'm starting from scratch with mine. I have a 302 Mexican block that I'll be using for the build.

74merc: Valve sizes are "puny", at best. Doesn't matter. I've got a nice set of titanium Nascar takeout valves here that I can cut down to whatever size I need/want. Then again...I won a set of stainless steel GT40 valves on Ebay last night ($27 per set) that could work well also.

I forgot how much fun it can be suckering the import dorks into a money race. This is going to be a riot. :bananaman

The Shipping prices skyrocketing are becoming the norm. But for items that are in abundance, looking for good deals now, sometimes come down to comparing the SHIPPING prices. I just bought a Bluetooth headset for my PalmOne Treo 650. I paid $20.00 for it, and $15.00 shipping. The box that it comes in, is about the size of a cigar box, and the whole package weighed less than a pound. $35.00 is a great deal for a Motorola Bluetooth headset, but they had to make money somewhere, and it's shipping.
