Well, guys and gals I stuck with it and the mav now has a heartbeat again. Its a little different from before though. Its got a brain now....lol. The fuel injection is one of the things I've been wanting to do to it. Now just have to get the leaf spring perches for the 8.8. Soon to come 3.55's, posi and disc brakes
Will, having gone through the EFI conversion recently, I congratulate you. Although others on here have done it with little or no problems, mine certainly wasn't one of them. The wires from 1970 would conduct sometimes, sometimes they wouldn't. We had to go around the ignition switch to finally get it to fire (and stay running). Which wiring harness did you use? Are you running 02's, MASS Air, Speed Density? Details man. Details. Major Congrats!
Haha, thanks guys! I'm running O2's and a speed density harness that I converted to mass air out of a mustang. I busted her off and racked it off a couple of times, open headers style. Yummy! I've got to clean everything up and I'll get some pics
Wow, I wasnt trying to sound hip. But I fired the car up and reved it up a couple of times. It sounded good... is what I was trying to say
