I picked up a new fuel pump for my 72 Mav yesterday. I didn't expect to see it in an AC Delco box! I thought it was a mistake, but it's not. It's no big deal to me, since I own two other GM vehicles, but I suspect some on this board would take offense to the idea of a GM part in a Ford. Should I put a "Heartbeat of America" bumper sticker on the car now?
Delco is no longer part of GM. Since they split, 50% of the parts they make now go on cars other than GM. So I wouldn't fret over it too much. Times are a changin'
thats a big fuel pump when i got one for my 75 it was a very small one-and the guy at napa told me that 75's use a smaller fuel pump than the rest-is this true?
The first set of electric fans that I put on the Comet came off of a SAAB, the temperature switch that I used came off of a VW. That is called true Hot Rodding!!!!
