Thanks to all for the warm welcome. Maverick's are a lot of fun, (especially '73s).

    Hey Larry,

I didn't see this post until just now, but welcome! What part of Colorado? I'm in Westminster. How about you T.L.? You're in Thorton right?

    Hi Mike,
I saw the gold Mav before it was crunched. Also, I sold your Dad some bumpers & brackets.

What a small world! I know I've seen your car before. Yeah, my Dad has been saving the cars until I got back in state...been in Phoenix the past 7 years.

I'm headed down to the Springs to visit my folks this weekend. Maybe you, T.L. and I can get together. I don't have a running Mav yet, but I just bought a Grabber from a guy in Virginia. I gotta go out on the 12th and get it. It was this one on ebay:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1,1&item=4564209230&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT

Once I get back I'll cruise it down to Widefield. I could use a lot of advice from you and T.L. since I'm just getting into the game really.

I've also contacted Damon Roehrich, the local MCCI Rep, and he seems game for a mini-meet. I need to write him back with some ideas.

MavMike the three of us getting together this weekend to talk about Mavericks sounds good. I look forward to seeing your Grabber when you get it.

Larry, maybe we could have a mini-meet "half-way" in Castle Rock. However, I think it would be awesome in The Garden of the Gods, Old Colorado City or Manitou Springs.

Want me to just call T.L. about this weekend? He gave me his #. I can e-mail you mine also.

    Mike
