Mine are always refered to by year, color, or doors. It's usually like "the 73" or "the brown four door." But when I'm talking to my mother I refer to them by their spot in the yard, like the 74 is "the car in the driveway" or my comet is "the one by the palm tree."

I usually refer to them by the state that brought the car home from.

    KY Mav
    WI Mav
    PA Mav
    Then there is the Grabber.

such a neat thread... so many options...uhhhhh todds' is the 2door. the other is the 4door. my karmann ghia is the ghia. the nissan truck is uhhhh the truck. the other nissan (sentra) is todds' car so it can get confusing. i usually have to specify no... i mean the sentra. ( much as i hate to bring the ricer into the mix, it is just a sentra 4door that gets 38 mpg on regular. the jeep wrangler is just the jeep. when MY wife says "which car are we taking I usually say "the jeep!" then she says i'm not climbing up in that thing" (it has a 4 inch body lift with kinda huge tires) I'd rather stay home than have to climb into that thing!" she stays home a lot.... funny how that works out huh? as far as my girl friend..... (you reading this patty?) :162:
