Just got back from seeing the door jams painted. It was raining outside, so had to take pics inside. Wasn't very bright, but you'll get the idea. Hopefully I'll have pics of bigger items next week (trunk lid, spoiler, mirrors, etc). Here is a "sneak peak", a teaser if you will, pics. Just bear with me, on the quality...

I'm trying to picture your paint scheme. Is the black going to
be around the mounting area of the sport mirrors? If not, why
make them stand out with black?

    Just curious.

I've had the mirrors black, since I put them on the car. So, I thought I would keep it that way. Just talked to Bill on the phone. I did take an extra pair of sport mirrors to him to be painted. We will paint one pair black. One pair will be the body color. That way I can change them out whenever I want to....Thanks for the idea...

I am with Seth.........I think body color would be best.

Look'in good Coop. Damn, with all these nice rigs around here in the northwest....seems like the monster petrol prices and mechanical woes couldn't have come at a better time.
Now I'm more inclined to avoid the shows with my semi ratty looking paint job.

Good incentive to keep the 10 speed bike going. More exercise, no more fuel to buy for the Comet, and don't have to lose face at shows.

    Whoo-hoo! :bananaman

The color is a copper/orange. It is a color I had custom made. All that is on the can is the number of the color. So.....I've decided to name the color: "Cooper Copper Blast". How's that for naming a color? Your car looks just fine Comet155. That's the reason I'm getting mine painted. After seeing yours, mine looked like crap...Now it will be worthy, to be seen with everyone elses cars, up here in the Northwest...I'm the MCCI State Rep & my car looked out of place, compared with everyone else's nice paint jobs..Soon to fit right in...

Hey 155, ratty looking is no good for describing your car since then mine would have to be described as El Junko.
Sheesh help me out her would ya?
