is this the right dome light for my 72?

    i've got one from a later year, and it curves in the middle like a big angle, I could take a pic, that's why this one may be correct.

    I was gonna say, I just went out to the ol heap and looked inside, it's got to be. that looks nothing like the later cap i've got.

    You may want to check the HELP section in your local auto parts store ... Pretty sure they are cheaper there ... that is where I got a replacement for my 74 ...

    Got one for my 73 on the shelf at Auto Zone. Pretty sure it was less than that one.

    I work at a parts plus. I got the same one here for $4.35 plus tax.
    its a HELP! motormite #74328. Any good parts store should have it or be able to get it for ya.(y)

    holy crap that's funny, in the help section at a parts store? After all these damn years of thinking I've was just out of luck.
