crane hi-6 ignition

    I just received my new crane ignition but i can not decide where to mount it. where have some of yall been mounting your ignition boxes? It is the about the same size as the msd

    mine is mounted front left apron going up and down right next to the winshiled washer tank.... i suggest that you also use the rubber feet to absorb the vibrations...

    Two 1973 LDO Mavericks (one 4 Drag one 4 driving like Mad on the roads :) ) also have a 75 6cyl Stock! Ok, well sort of Stock :P
    where the battery use to be ;) nice place get some cold air to keep it cool

    one day when i have time gonna pull out the heater and air condition crap and put it in the inside ;)

    What he said!
    Put the battery in the trunk... mount it in a plastic box. This will keep your fender apron from rotting out like so many other cars.
    After you take the battery tray out, the apron has a narrow ledge that you would swear was put there just for an MSD box.

    thanks for the input, I will have to repair the rotted out area where the batt used to be and install the ign box there.

    I mounted mine inside on the passenger's side of the firewall, out of sight.
