I'm hoping someone is able to check out my car, which is sitting in the economy lot at the Houston Hobby airport. I'm very interested in finding out how it managed through the hurricane last night. If someone does return to Houston and can assist, please let me know the condition of my car if possible. You should be able to get into the econo lot for free for the first 30 minutes...saying the ticket machine is working.

I would greatly appreciate anyones help with this.

    Thanks,
    Mark:huh:

Thanks. I did get through to the parking garage attendents and they told me that they had no incidents. I don't have absolute confirmation that my 73 Mav is okay, but I'm sure they would have surveyed their lots. Now I just have to wait and see how the house is there in Lake Charles...if they ever let us back in.

    Thanks,
    Mark

I heard Lake Charles was flooded. Is you house in a low area? I hope it's ok. Good think you drove the Maverick to Houston. It's probably better off there than underwater.

Actually, I'm working out of town. I guess that's luck as Lake Charles has no power for the next week. No word on the house yet. If you follow the news and they mention St Patrick's Hospital, I'm right down the street.

I appreciate everyone's concerns. Will let you know what happens when I get there.
