Hello folks, I posted a thread on the foreign Maverick section, but I think here would be the most suitable place to ask the full question. I'm looking for a front suspension kit for a Brazilian Maverick at Kanter auto. It seems they can't find the correct equivalent since the US model had quite a few changes on the A-arm bushing dimensions and two different ball joints (3 or 4 bolts) on the upper arm during the production years. Does anyone know what changes were those? What should I look for in order to find the matches for the Brazilian version suspension? Also, would the Mustang bushings and ball joints fit? Thanks, W. Tavares
The Maverick uses the 3 bolt ball joint. 70-72 Mustang should be the same. You can go to PST websight & they have packages for the Maverick. Personelly, I dont recomend the polygraphite but they sell standard packages too. http://www.p-s-t.com/
Hello Mavaholic, nice rides you got! Are there any pictures posted ? Thanks for the info ! That was great! I contacted PST and got the suspension kit (with 11/16 sway bar bushings). As you suggested, I got the rubber thing. Service there was awesome, much different than Kanter's. By the way, Kanter sucks: long time on the phone for a lousy service and never got a single e-mail reply there !!!! Thanks a lot, W. Tavares
No problem. My car is kinda plastered all over this websight but there is no one place that has a bunch of pictures of it. Guess I need to create a gallery.
