As much as I hate last minute announcements about get-togethers.....I have one to announce.

There is a Mustang and All Ford Car Show in Findlay, Ohio this Saturday that I have "tentatively" planned to attend. I have also talked with Wilbur and Susan Green and they plan to "tentatively" attend as well. By "tentatively" that means if the weather is nice and decent.

I would like to invite anybody else that would like to come and we will make it a little "Mini-Meet" of Mavericks and Comets.

    Here is the info:

    Findlay Ford Lincoln Mercury
    12000 Township Road 99
    Findlay, OH 45840-8794

    Show: Saturday, October 22, 2005
    1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
    Awards 4:00 p.m.

All Makes and Models of Fords. Reg. $5.00.

    DJ

2005 Mustang GT Convt Raffle and More.

You can call findlay Ford Lincoln Mercury at: (419) 422-1661

So I hope some of you in the Ohio, Michigan, Indiana area can make it. I will let you all know if we decide not to go because of the weather.

Wow...regrettably I will not be able to come because of other things going on..:( (If plans change, I will do my best to get there...it is only about 100 miles from my house)...what is weird is that I am nearly positive that Findlay Ford is right up the street from where this picture was taken:

This is where I ran out of gas on the way from Roundup '04. (Much to my wife's GREAT irritation) The building behind me is now a Speedway gas station. I am facing the Ford dealership in question, just not sure it is Findlay Ford. I would love to make my triumphant return...especially now that I have the EFI adjusted to get 17 or 18 MPG instead of the 10 that I was getting  ...and that I also have the gas gauge fixed so it doesn't read 1/8 tank when it is really empty...

It sounds like fun. I just checked and unfortunatly I will not be able to attend it seems that it is 399.6 miles from my house or 7 hours and 15 min away.

Would love to make one last run before putting her to bed for the winter, but the timing falls in with one of our holiday seasons in Michigan. DEER season. I will be in the great north woods of michigan looking for bambi's big brother. I am disappointed that it won't work. Been waiting for something closer to michigan to get together.

Well.............the weather is not going to co-operate, so I will not be making the 2 1/2 hour trip. I really wanted to get in one last car show this year before I said good-bye to summer. Come on summer....hang on!!!
