I was just wondering what kind of shocks the drag racers on this site were using?

i use the stock shocks on the rear and the comp engineering front shocks on the 90/10 setting. works ok, but i'm not running fast times . my best was 12.85. will be interesting to see what the new engine does if i ever get it finished.

I have 3 way adjustable shocks in the front from Summit. They worked really well with my old set-up, I am sure they will be OK with my new set-up, have not been to the track yet with all the changes.

The ranchos would be capable of working in the stock mounting locations but may need to be spaced out at the bottom to allow for the larger shock body. I went ahead and remounted both of them behind the rear end at a slight angle.

I also have a set of the hurst 3 way adjustable drag shocks from eBay, NOS. They have worked well but like everyone else I'm always looking to improve. I would like to try the ranchos and see if my sixty foots pick up.

Part # 9136 My car sits pretty low so you may want to check your measurements.
