My son Jason just completed another adventure. This time he flew to the East Coast to drive a Maverick back home to Arkansas. I bought this one for him for Christmas & flew him out to get it. He had a blast. It is a 77 with a 250 6 cyl, automatic, power steering & power disc brakes. It is in pretty nice shape. It has 129,000 miles on it but he said it drove like a dream. It will be a Father Son project. We are looking forward to working on it. These pics are a play by play as he arrived today pulling in the driveway from his long journey. Mike
very nice looking car! I noticed that there are no plates or permits stickers...can you do that down your way? Up here we need a pemit($34) just to move a car down the block!
He drove it about 1200 miles & was not stopped. In Arkansas as long as you have a Bill of Sale you are good for 30 days.
We have many projects to do to this car. Small bumper conversion, I-6 to V-8 conversion, Bench to Bucket Seat conversion, carpet & Headliner, new Tires & Wheels & eventually paint. The body is unbelievably straight. It will take alot of time to do all this but alot of fun also. Mike
Sweet deal, very nice car. im sure he will appreciate it. my grabber had 150k on it when i bought it 17 years ago and was my main car for years. at 236k i had done very little to it and now im rebuilding it but only cause i wanted to and could. it still started every day and went strong
