    Hey everyone,just became a member,and just starting my 72 Comet GT project.The car has been apart for ten years and not taken apart by me i might add.I just took apart my 85 mustang gt for the drivetrain for the Comet so i probably will have LOTS of questions concerning the assembly process.looking forward to talking with you all real soon.DEREK.

    Thanks for the great welcome,to answer a few replies,no not going for a highboy look the engine isn't in the car yet,the pic was from the summer when i picked the car up,no it's not a real GT i just always loved the look of them and i will add the stripes and scoop this winter.When i was a kid the neighbor had bought a new 71 or 72 GT yellow and black,and i knew right then i would have a Comet or Maverick one day.Heres a few more pics and one of my other toy.Derek.
