How tall of a tire can you go?

Hello I was thinking that if a 255/60/15 will fit, what about the 255/70/15 on and 15x8 rim.

I like the tire to go up in the finder well with out the jackup look.


255/70/15= rim 7.5, sect width 10.2, tread with 8.3, Dia 29.1

255/6015= rim 7.5, sect width 10.2, tread with 8.3, Dia 27.1

are they to tall to?

 

I think 29" may be a bit too tall. Clearance issues with the bottom corners of the wheel openings will likely arise with a tire that tall.

 

ok any one know were you can find MT J60 tires? i don't even see them list on there web site.
