I really liked the build style of that car,low key & subtle.I'd like to do my comet along those lines, except I'd do a T-5 instead of the c4.Nice to see an article w/some good pics, when they done Maverickman's car the one pic was a blurred action shot that took up both pages, and the only other exterior pic was so tiny you couldn't really see how nice it really is.Glad to see some other stuff in there besides upteen high $$$$ early mustangs w/mod motors.Like the red Fairlane w/bullets in the reader ride section too.

Well, I finally got my copy in the mail yesterday. First I had actually seen it. Some minor inaccurracies (Std Grill, not a Grabber Grill; Seats were actually out of a Comet GT & aren't Grabber specific), but overall, a very nice feature. I've had other Mustangs & Torinos featured in mags before, but this is one of the better jobs. A big thanks goes to Jim Smart, who insisted that a feature be done on my Mav. During the photo shoot, Jim had stated that he has always been a big Maverick fan as the best inexpensive alternative for a restomod.

The guy that bought it, flew out & drove the car back to Atlanta. He stated the car ran flawlessly throughout the over 2000 mile trip.

    He should join the MCCI

Dan Hines is the state rep. for GA.
Maybe he will speak up and volunteer to contact the fellow.

What are you working on now? Did you buy another Boss aside from
the race car that you had purchased?

My plate is very full right now. I had to put my 67 Mustang coupe T/A Race Car on hold for now as I just got Parnelli's Boss 302 back from paint. He's nicely grinding me to finish the resto. Plus, I'm fighting with the city to get my garage completed, so I can move out of my shop & bring everything home.

The GS Maverick ended up in Augusta , Ga. It has changed hands again since it was driven back from California.
