What do I find in the current (February '06) edition of Hemming's Classic Car magazine on page 72? Right there in the "Books & Lit" section, the latest copy of SHORTHORNS and a great write up of MCCI. Jim Donnelly had some pretty cool things to say about us. The author also made some nice comments about Terie Hipple's car, and Joe Hutsky's Mav. He did make a mistake, though. Mr. Donnelly mentioned Chrissy's column but described Beryl Bauer as Chrissy. OOPS!!

Kudos to Dennis. Without his great desktop publishing and editing, this wouldn't have happened.(y)

It's because I send them (as well as every other major magazine) a "comp" subsciption of the newsletter.

I do know that they knew we existed. They were supposed to do an article on Mavericks, but it hasn't transpired yet. This has been pending since April when I was contacted and sent them pictures.

The mag is available at most newsstands and Barnes & Noble, etc.

maybe we could do some serious "bugging" them from now untill the roundup and get some car mag folks involved to do a write up/story about MCCI and our nationwide affection of these cars, they do enough GM stuff to make you puke and never do much ford except Mustangs, maybe take them along for the entire roundup and let them do pictures and who knows a cover story! just a thought?
