What ever happened to this awsome idea? Was this just a wet dream? Was there really a camara traveling the highways and byways of this great country, takeing picture's of our comet's and maverick's? Was some great person(like John Ford) going to put all the pic's together in a "book" for some extra pocket change? Is penn. state the best? Why buy a chevy? Is the world truely round? Well im getting of the subject. Anyone know the answer to my first question?
Thanks in advance for your reply:)

The camera was sent to me from Georgia(I beleive) Ward and I snapped a couple pics of our cars together, then I passed it to either (Jim Larson, Matt or Robert) after that I have no ideal what happened to it:huh:

i thought the original idea was to DRIVE the camera to the next maverick person... a way to meet face to face maverick owners.

There were supposed to be several cameras, don't know how many were actually started. I confess, I still have one of the cameras. Nobody procrastinates like me!! :bouncy: I meant to bring it to the Roundup last year and pass it off since I had never had a chance to meet up with anybody to hand it off, but I forgot to grab it. :162:

But it's all Radmav's fault. :evilsmile

Well... I had around 100 names of people who said they were willing to do it. At the time I needed help with it and (Paul)McinAK stepped up. Paul took all of the names, and started to organize it. Paul sent out 4 cameras(on his dime) and a very few people actually exchanged them. Paul got frustrated with no one returning e-mails or passing on the cameras to the next guy. So we gave up on the idea. It the same old story of everyone say ya ya ya, go for it! But when it comes time to step up...

it still sounds like a great idea! lets reinvent it and see what happens, maybe bring it down alittle and give it to the state reps first and then see what they come up with!!!
