    i am very close to getting my 6901 hooker headers and i have heard that you have to get accel shorty header spark plugs. what is the part number for those plugs?

    If u have world windsor cylinder heads u need to start with 576s. If u do not I believe you have been misinformed.

    im not sure what world windsor heads are. my heads are basically stock except for some milling and porting

    When my car had stock heads i always just used a motorcraft plug for a late model 5.0.

    okay thanks. some more questions. do i have to get 90 degree spark plug boots? and will the headers fit with an auto trans with a column shift?

    Geoffrey I may be wrong but I think you need to change to a floor shift for the headers...but like I said...I may be wrong...Jim

    i use the accel shorty plugs....

    the part number on the box of 8 plugs says 8199
    plug No. 576s

    Im not sure about the fitment of column shift with those headers, but i know the standard plug will fit. The accel plugs arent cheap and wont really benifit anything.

    thanks alot that is less money i have to spend. im sorry for so many questions but you do have to get a double hump transmission mount right?

    Mine had one in it when i bought the car,but if i had to say i'd say yes.

    i have a single hump tranny mount and my exhaust installer workes around it without having to kink the tube... i think because my engine tilts back a little bit
