I guess I should have paid attention. One of the plates has 2 shock mounting holes on each end and one plate only has one! I had a 50/50 chance of putting it on the wrong side and I did! Of course, one side was done bfore I noticed! For anyone doing this project, lay out the pieces on either side of the car first! As a side note, I am surprised at how low the rear mount is to the ground. I have about 4: to the ground, Seem right? BTW, I had replaced the front bushings not even 500 miles ago. One had to be beat out and the other slid right out. Err..
I greased the bushing just to get them in! Pressed them in with a block of wood and a bar clamp. Don, I just called John and told him what I have. I just went out and looked at the box, no part number. (why would you grease a solid metal bushing?)
I didnt lubricate mine. If it aids in installation great, dont believe it will hurt anything and will probably help if you ever have to take it apart again. Dan
When you ordered the Cal-Tracs what kind of information did u need to give them about your car? (ie. Rearend, spring pad dimensions, length of spring, etc)
Year of car and if I changed the perches ar all. Same as a '70 mustand. Fit quite easily once the bushings were out!
