I have a local mustang guy who comes highly recommended for subframe connectors. I need to get some pictures of maverick with connectors. I'm also wondering if connectors that aren't "through the floor" are worth putting on.

He is saying about $250 to build and install the non-"through the floor" type on my maverick. I seem to recall the connectors dan starnes made as being the type that only connected at each end.

If anyone has pictures of either type of connectors, I'd like to see them. I did find one post involving the through the floor type here on the board that still had pics.

    Thanks in advance.

Unless you are running over 400 hp,, dont worry bout runnin then thru the floor. He is not overcharging you at that price. There are pics of Mavaholics car somewhere on this board with the connectors on them, I just cant find them now.

I have the Competiion Engineering bolt-ons. Even they make a noticeable difference.

Here it is! I've been looking for an hour or so enjoying my Maverick archives! :)

The reason you couldn't find the picture is because it was under Dennis' car! :D

I had a local guy build mine, also out of roll-cage tubing. Mine are almost the same, except they run along the SIDE of the sub-frames, and get welded to the sides. Couldn't say either was better though!
