I went to high school with this guy. I found on another page that he
runs a 428-probably a CJ like his Dad.

What does the class T/STK mean? I think his Dad runs SS/GA or SS/FA if that is correct. Jr. showd up in a SS photo as well.

Jr. had a black w/silver stripes '72 Comet GT while we were in high school.
I posted a pic of that car in the past.

t/stk is top stock. its a heads up type eliminator/class run at ihra divisionals and nat meets. i think it uses cars from something like the top 3 stock classes and uses car weight/ballast to equalize the performance for heads up racing.

igo1090 has it 100% covered. These guys are the nastiest 9" tire cars on the planet. They expect to run in the very low 9's or even high 8's this season. They are given a slot in the IHRA program along with the pro cars and are real crowd pleasers thanks to the "wheels-in-the-air" launches. There is a select group that will be running a "closed" field this year. Each racer has paid big money to enter and they will be running for a large purse at Maryland during the IHRA national event held there. l
