When I put in my electrical unit, had to get some extra plumbing from the hardware store to have it come up over the fuel pump. Worked great (y)

Other than the fact that they can leak oil all over the inside of your car....nothing.

i have found all an electric oil pressure gauge does is tell you whether or not you have pressue. they can be inaccurate, slow to respond to changes. also, you now have that sender on the end of a 3" pieces of 1/8th pipe, brass or steel? too much vibration and it can crack at the threads nearest the block.

a good mech gauge using premade braided -3 brake line and correct fittings wont leak. the line is meant for 1,000+ line pressures. not overly expensive & might need to be replaced in maybe 20 years, if ever.

In my case it wasn't the line that leaked, it was the gauge itself. Leaked internally then started spraying hot oil down (luckily) towards the floor. Had a hell of a mess, ruined the carpet. Decided right then not to ever bring engine fluids into the passenger compartment again.
