I didn't see to many vans. The only van I saw that interested me was a late 50's early 60's delivery style van. All the rest were Caravan/Astro Bull $hit
It's strange the minds behind the manufacturer's. I found many cars with red seats, But the seat belts were never red! Mostly Black or Grey. Even the Mustang I found my seats from, the belts were black!
Thanks for checking. If you spot any old Econolines at the other place let me know. I love checking out older salvage yards. I'm going to Colchester CT next week to check out another one. Fred
Try downloading this program .It's what most of us use. http://www.irfanview.com/main_download_engl.htm
Ok, I went to that link, now which one in the list do I download? I'm not savy when it comes to stuff like that. If I can't just send what I got, it can be tough for me. But I want to learn.
If you have windows xp just go to the windows download site and download the program called image resizer. its free, one of the windows xp power toys. once installed you can just right click onthe image and choose resize, then select one of the standard sizes or just set it manually.
more Junk!! LOL I went to another today and lo and behold a Purple Comet was found with a 302!! Also Found a working Mustang 289 V8, didn't have time to find out if the Comet motor ran or not. Judging from where it sat, and that the roof was rotted through, I'd say NOT!! LOL But there may be some parts on it you Comet guys need, so let me know, that yard's even closer than the other one. So it'd be easy for me to get more pics of it. I had limited time today, as I was looking for a hood for someone else's car, and she didn't want to be there. So getting the pictures was a miracle!! :evilsmile I will try to post those now, if it don't work I will do it when I get back from the movies with my son around 9-ish. Yep, didn't work. So I'll try later. And a Green Gremlin X from 1972! That was cool.
Wow you can actually see if it runs while in the yard? No yard around here that I know of will allow you to actually try to start one of the cars in the yard. You find out if it works after you buy it, and if it dosen't your just SOL.
Some of the yards around here let me drive my truck in. Last motor I bought they let me switch batteries on the car and hook up a fuel line to start the car, even did a compression check. I unbolted everything and they lifted it out and into my truck, $100.00. I usually take a jump pack with me and test any electrical stuff out before I buy it. I'll have to get the address's for both those places from you, I have a 72 Gremlin X also. Fred
Well, The Mustang was running when I got there. Sorry if I didn't clarify that in my first post. I was more excited that I found the old cars in the first place.
