I was searching through some parts today and came across two sets of Bobcat taillights. One set is has aluminum trim and the other has chrome plated steel trim. Does anyone know what year the chrome ones are from? They were in the trunk of a 72 Pinto parts car I had bought years ago. I never noticed the difference in the taillights until today.

    Ron,
I don't think I am going to sell them. I had planned on using one set on my 70 and the other on my 77. Plans always change though.

These are the first chrome ones I've seen. All the others were aluminum.

I have seen the chrome ones as well. Usually they are all "pitted" because they are made out of pot metal.

Mine are chrome, and in near n.o.s. condition. I got the bright idea to go looking for a Pinto/Bobcat sight similar to ours, and found one, I think in Yahoo groups or some similar thing. I posted a message saying I was looking for some Bobcat taillights, and got a hit!! John B.
