I wouldn't mind waiting one month for free headers. Awesome. The guy was real cool to me too. I'll have to buy some. Let us know how they turn out.

I'm sure I will end up paying something. I never take anything for free. If he tells me 480.00 when he knows they will fit, well then by gosh I will pay it.:)

Oh, I see. I misunderstood your other post. $480 is still a good deal if they fit.

Do you guys not like the super comps 1 3/4, a couple of guys are running them & they havent had to do a lot if anything to make them fit. They are a little bit cheaper?? Let me know what U guys think because I'm needing to buy a set real quick!! If these RCI's are better I'm in for a set too!

The custom ones would be nice because they shouldn't require a spacer or notching the shock towers. Also, they should fit most aftermarket cylinder heads, even if they have raised exhaust ports or wider spaced bolt holes. Using the wider spaced bolt holes on my AFR heads would make installing and removing the headers much easier.

I'd be curious if Tubular's 1.75" SBF headers would fit...
If I get a chance, I think I will call on it.
They are for 289-302 in a 65-66 Stang.
They come 8 seperate pipes then slip on collectors.
Very easy install from my experience with other headers like this.
