200 6cyl tips

    anybody got any tricks to getting better performace on a 200 i just can't bring myself to spend $300+ for a header ,I already did the duraspark 11 dizzy and that make a great improvemnet thanks ron

    Although it dosent sound right, you can build more power and cheaper, the more cylinders you have. A V8 is much cheaper than a six, 4 banger ricer motors are real expensive......but ever price a built 2 cyl Harley motor?????

    Unfortunately in your case, the header will probably give you more bang for the buck and is a must before you go into head work or a cam.

    shave the head .060 that will give you about a full point compression increase(if memory serves me right) get a port divider for the 3/4 exahust port .... and your gonna have to break down and get a header to pick up more than a handfull of extra horses

    thanks for the info gang i did find a guy that makes headers local so i'm going to give it a shot
