rear measurements

    can anyone tell me the measurements of the maverick 8"?also where is the best place to measure?backing plate to backing plate/or the perches,center hole to center hole.i want to push the rear tires out a little bit.looking at a couple different rears,one from a 67 mustang one from a 68 mustang,and one from a torino,not sure of the year.any other years sizes of what to look for?any thoughts ideas,is greatly appreciated,chuck.

    A maverick rear is 56 1/4" mounting surface to mounting surface. The spring perchases are 2 1/2" wide and are 42 3/4" apart, center to center

    thanks dennis:tiphat: just what i was looking for.will 67/68 mustang leaf springs fit in our mavs or are they a different beast all together?
