good point Derrick...I already have the block :yup: and the rotating essembly, been getting parts and what-not every month for the past 6 months (when I "acquired" the block).....the original plan was to slowly build it and sit old PINKY down this winter(2006) until all is complete....now its not just a simple 408 swap :evilsmile I was figuring on atleast 16 months to do everything, once I put the car down.
So as long as its an fairly easy and cheap fix, I will fix her now. If its terminal  then she is done and down for a looooong time :90:
*Only thing I might do (if its terminal) is get a cheap/stock 302, throw in her for the Round-up*

if it is cracked... just put a cargo strap around the engine... maybe one in front and one in back and cinch it down real tight... im sure that would work just fine... then rtv where the fluids are coming out at...
    hehehe

at least it didnt happen going down the track at over 100mph... it could have destroyed the car if it failed...
