trails packed again

    had a nice day for it sunny and 65 ....only made one pass again..... still need to fig out what works best 12.16@109
    heated the tires better,, ran them at 15psi brought it out at 2200 rpm.1.78 60ft lot better then last sunday of a 1.86.. next time 2800 or 3000 rpm;)
    7.72 1/8th@90 mph
    get the 2 year old plugs out and get it dyno tuned
    i know its running a little rich at WOT ..should be able to get it in the high to mid 11s

    7.70's at the 660 mark is real good for a street car, but there is still time left in that car.

    by the way...get used to that track being packed...especially early in the year. Everybody is shaking their cars down. I went to a T&T at my local track in late August(one year) and made 9 passes and put it on the trailer before the lanes were closed. Early in the year, lucky to get 3 :yup:

    its a cl65 amg from a drag or low roll i could get him but from about about 55 roll he was right there slow would pull away around 100mph :eek:

    275-50x15 MT drag radials there great hook alot better and dont get the wiggles up top like my old ET streets when i ran them at 15 psi

    i'm running the same tire but i've found my car likes 19 best. we're allowed to run slicks now in the sportsman class but i won't change. these things are great, especially at the top end. i used to run my et streets at 13.:)

    with the et streets mine hooked best @13 too but i did not like the feeling at the end of the track

    Nice goin there Dave...I think more like lower 11's once it's dialed in. What's the rpm's on your converter? I would try bringing my launch rpm's to within 500 rpm's of what you convert at, feather it for a split second on launch and then jump on it...that should keep you from blowin the tires off and get you out of the hole qwiker.
    I don't know how you deal with only being able to make 1 pass...I'd be goin crazy:coco:

    its a 3800-4000 stall set up so i could foot brake it around 2800rpm a lower rear gear would help the ET with the 380s i can drive on the streets,,,,,,,,,it suxs only getting one run and paying 10 bucks to do it could have made another but it would of took over 3 hrs to do it
