Since the motor is out of PINKY I decided to try and clean-up the engine bay a bit.
*Moved the MSD 6AL & Start Retard, inside the car on the dash.
*I have relocated my starter silenoid. This has removed a bunch of wires and battery cable the engine compartment.
    * I have removed, what was left of the parking brake cable.
    * There was a couple brackets on the frame, below the steering box, not sure what they were....I assume they had something to do with the column shift.

Now, I am wanting to do something with the tranny cooler. It seems I remember someone moved theirs to the trunk (Stephen Moore) was that you :hmmm:

Anywho....is there any suggestions of were others have located theirs other than in front of the radiator? It would sure be nice to get thoughs tranny lines out of that area.
    Thanks!

I've seen a second cooler mounted horizontally underneath the car (away from the exhaust) also. I kinda like the cooler in the trunk idea also. (y)

The tranny cooler can go almost anywhere. about the only things you need to think about is like rick said the exhaust, its own saftey eg. scraping the ground or tires throwing stuff at it, and good air flow.

unless you mount a small fan with it, when its mounted in the trunk the air is stale and won't cool very well...a louvered trunk deck????????

Summitt has a small one in their catalog designed for street rods, it mounts beside the frame rail, don't know where you could put it where airflow could get to it though, maybe beside the subframe?

Good point. I can see it radiating heat but would be much more effective with a good "cool" air flow.

Which reminds me, I think this guy who had his mounted underneath the car also had a small fan also...maybe. :hmmm:

    Me ponders doing same.

    Stephen...

...did have his in the back. It was under the trunk. It was a heavy
    looking NASCAR piece.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if you mount it in the truck, it wont do your car much good. :biglaugh: :D
