What are yer plans? Holes aren't to big yet... Looks like you could save what you got with POR15 & a little fiberglass??
i bought 1971 ford mustang floorboards from mustangs unlimited.. each side was 59.95 and took a day per side to cut out and weld in place. very strong... and they are new metal. so it will take quite a few years to rust out
just get a welding rig and some old body parts or some sheet metal and patch it for a cheep route and cover it with some bed liner top and bottom. then throw in the carpet
Simon , how far up do those mustang floors extend, I mashed my dimmer swtich down and found a hole up there. haven't pulled carpet completely but form what I can see it isn't real extensive but the area on the outside edge of the driver's side appears to have several holes how extensive underneath it looks ok though. Who did you order the mustang pieces from
my plan is to fabricate new patch panels from sheet metal.I have a friend who owns the company that makes the sheet metal for trane air conditioning units. and he lets me use his presses and stuff. so depending on how right i can make the jig I may do a limited run of patch panels for those who need them. jamie
J. Edwards if you make a run of floor panels then count me in, I need one for each side for my 73. I'm in Fayetteville,Ga
im not sure exactly but a guess is about 2-4 inches. .and it didnt cover the dimmer switch area at all...
