    hi again,
can anyone tell me if and what year mustang rear bumper brackets will work on a rear small bumper:huh: The ones on the bumper I have are rusted beyond recognition. Also does anyone have part number or picture of the rear bumper trunk mounts( I think that is what they are.) We are converting 75 GIANT bumpers to nice small ones. I have read the thread on the conversion but cannot find trunk mounts.
    Thanks
    Cathy

Are you talking about the external brackets or the internal trunk reinforcement brackets? As Dan said, the internal ones are the same as the early Mustang, which are reproduced. If you need the external ones, you will have to find a used set. I have some if you need them. Email me directly if your interested.

actually I am looking for both:) . while I was searching for the ones that go inside of the trunk on the internet (mustang parts)I kept coming up with the ones that are on the bumpers themselves and they look like the ones on the maverick bumpers. Anyways never did find the trunk ones And so my boyfriend fabricated some. Now I just need ones for the bumper. Found 2 wrecked early 70's mavericks setting behind a house in some woods going to check them out tomorrow hopefully there are bumpers that I steal the mounts off of and a front valance. But being in the rust belt.......:(

I have a complete '73 Comet ( bumpers, brackets, valance (its a 4 door) ) if anything will work. And I'm not in the rust belt; ( sothern Ore.)
