It's been a while since i have been on this forum. But i guess its cause i was to busy with the maverick.lol But anyway back to the question. I am looking for the stock size clutch for my maverick. When i called napa they said they had 10 inch and 11 inch. I'am wondering which size i need. I have a 302 and 3 speed. Thanks in advance for the help.

I'am sorry and thankful at the same time. Please excuse my stupidity.

Yeah, I ran into the same thing, only I was told it was either 10" or 10.5".
The 11" was pretty much only a 351 part.

Btw: No one ever told me if 10" and 10.5" were interchangeable on the stock 157 tooth flywheel...
I might have to bump the thread...

i'm running an 11" clutch in my comet. it was sweet when i found the aluminum bellhousing on a 67 fairlane at the junk yard. the guy at the junk yard said that it had a 351w when i showed up.

I seriously doubt it. If your local parts store carries both or can get both, I'd have them order them in and compare the bolt pattern on the pressure plate. I've never messed with anything other than 10"

I was going to order from Summit.
When you do a search on 72 Maverick clutch kits, they come in both flavors, 10 and 10.5...
That is why I was asking.
The clutch disc I want from one brand only comes in 10.5 for our cars, but the pressure plate is of another brand, and it only comes 10...
