I joined the forum back in the late fall and have placed a post every now and then - thought it was about time I introduced myself. I took over a Maverick project from my Dad - a 73 2-door (the car, not my Dad!), a 71 Grabber donor car, and a new 5.0 engine from Ford MotorSports. Currently the car is pretty much stripped down to the suspension - just pulled the engine and trans last weekend. After a front-end rebuild (and probably the rear as well), painting the engine compartment, and finishing the underside, the new engine and an AOD will go back in. After that I'll focus on the body and interior. At least that's the current plan - the project has already taken on a couple major changes from my initial plans for the car. I'll post some pics in the near future. I'd like to also say thanks to everyone so far. I've been reading and gaining A LOT of information for the various stages of this project and all the posts and information have been invaluable!
