Installed homemade shock tower braces today. Trying to get engine compartment finished by end of the month. Hoping to have Mav finished by end of summer. Got a long way to go!
looks great i'm also planning on homemade ones but its gonna be more difficult since i have a booster
They are homemade from 3/4" tubing with welded plug ends connected to spherical rod ends. The plates are 1/4" steel, cut out with a reciprocating saw and shaped with a grinder. Thanks for your comments, looks like i'm headed in the right direction.
wish i could fab, think i would save lots of money, it does look very good, very professional looking.....
These are getting kinda popular nowadays. Good thing too, cause they look and handle much better than the flat plate ones, in my opinion, and are so much easier to work around.
Picking mine up from the powder-coaters tomorrow (Friday). Had it done in 80% gloss black. 25 bucks...
