thanx, my baby broke down new years weekend. Seeing how im a girl and didnt have much tools, it took me 3 weeks to take the engine and transmission out. then another 2 months to get it all back in and running. Im still working out the bugs. I still have a vaccum leak and the transmission shift linkage needs to be adjusted. But all in all i love the girl. I named her Betsy lol.

Congrats Serena! I had a red 75 maverick that looks exactly like yours. It had the 250, black interior, bench seat, power steering and manual brakes.

The list of Maverick sightings in magazines continues.

I was just reading through a great new muscle car magazine (Hemmings Muscle Machines) when I spotted another Maverick sighting. Of course it's in the May edition too, but this time it's in the form of a cartoon. On page 67 there's one of those Ed Roth style cartoons where the engine and wheels are huge, and the shifter sticks out through the roof. Unfortunately the article isn't about Mavericks, but the picture is pretty cool all the same. I really like this magazine, and so far they do seem to be featuring some out of the ordinary cars, so hopefully there's a chance they may feature a Maverick some day. Some of you guys with really nice cars should send them some photos to plant the seed.

Cool...I'll have to try to find one of those. Don't think they have them around here or at least I haven't seen them. Got Hemmings Motor News but that's all. :(

i think i will have to bring out a hose in a few minutes lol. keep in mind thoses pics r about 3yrs old, the car looks nicer lol man to think i almost sold my baby. for years my mom wouldnt let me sell it and now that i have fixed it up, she says i can sell it, i told her shes lost it. i know that car inside n out, i have had the drive line fall out while i was on the freeway, i have blown a radiator, blew a head gasket, did a complete rebuild of engine and transmission and killed my battery all in the last 5 yrs that i have owned it. most of that stuff happened in the last 5 months lol
