2 ea 70 model mavericks. just the bodys at this time
I am a new member to this forum. I live in the north Houston, Tx area. I recently purchased a 70 model maverick - less engine and transmission. With the body i bought, the seller gave me another 70 model body for parts. Honestly, I didn't see much difference in either body. Both have good panels and glass, with only slight bodt rust. I hope to build a street/strip car with a mustang II style front suspension and 9" rearend. I can't decide on the engine yet as I am big block fan and I have had many cleveland engines in the mustangs that I have owned in the past. If any of you have a suggestions I welcome the input. I do want to run low 11 second times in the 1/4, with a five speed stick.

    Hello Neighbor (to my North),

Welcome to the board. As far as suggestions go, I believe you're only limit is how much you're willing to spend. If you want a BBF, you know that's going to be relatively expensive. Small block = smaller expenses (a lot less work involved).

Good luck on whatever you decide to do and please keep us posted.
