Thats the scoop of my choice. I like the grill thats supposed to be in it too. Matches the Maverick grill.

I was looking at my GT comet which has the stock scoop but I noticed that the hood doesnt have a hole in it. Is this normal? or was my hood replaced? I been looking online here but no has there GT hood open with photos of the inside.

    They came that way.
    They were just for looks.
No function to them from the factory.

While on the subject of shakers, what about one from a 04 Mach 1? They look kind of like the original ones....

They make kits to put those on classic carb'd cars...

If you look for a hood scoop off a fox body Capri they are real close to a comet GT hood scoop, they are just turned around on the Capri

    Reply to hood scoop question.

I have a '73 Comet "GT" hood scoop and grille w/ amber lights and both lower filler panels directly under grille that cover gap between bumper and grille. Also have bumper. Scoop has no stress cracks, no glass work or patches. in very good condition.Located in NC
Pictures are available. Serious inquiries only. Will consider all reasonable offers
