Any newbies in San Francisco Bay & Northern California? I joined about a year ago, and bought my Grabber in Modesto (really Riverbank) on July 1, 2005. I'm in San Ramon. There aren't too many members in SF Bay area (I know of about 6 between San Jose and San Francisco). I hope more folks with Comets and Mavericks in this area will join up, so we can do stuff locally. I'm a new supporting member but I've been lurking around for a few years. I'm finally dropping the 1990 5.0 motor in my 74 Grabber. I'm from Richmond but I live in Pinole now. I'm pretty sure I bought my Grabber from " Ron S ".

Great. If you go, register in Class 17, Falcons/Comets. I spoke to someone putting the program together and suggested adding Mavericks to the Falcon/Comet class and extending the year from 1967 to 77. She liked that idea, but it is too late to change the registration form this year. So we'll just pass the word. Roz
I'll be there, I hope to see a few Mav's there too. I went to the last Goodguy's in Pleasanton. Way too many Chevy's and the one I thought was a Mav for a second was a Vega.
I almost went to the Good Guys show in June, but I was getting my car ready to drive to Reno and trying to finish up my work, so I'd be able to go. The guy who works on my car goes to all the Good Guys shows, but he didn't mention seeing another Maverick there. If several of us go in November, we should meet there early and try to park together. :Handshake Roz

i am new to this thread i dont even have a maverick im just 17 im planning to sell my car to buy me a maverick i am in love with them hopefully i can get me 1 soon i am also from the bay area i live in san pablo which is right next to richmond

thnks today i saw a mustang II hatchback not sure how much i just saw it by my school which is de anza high school they dont convince me much like a maverick tho what would you guys consider the mustang II or the maverick
