can a 240/300 I6 bolt in the maverick engine bay? with the same eng mounts/brakets?
and can not remenber if the cylinder head is a cross flow type, a TBI would help with more torque, a AOD ( I have three ) for top end speed/ gas milage!! I would think these
power plants are cheeper than a alummium cylinder head, alum. intake, six pack or what ever fuel diffuser of choice. would be nice to spank ricers and newer cars and sound stock with headers 2.5 pipes and ultra flow 2.5 in and 2.0" dual outs !!

You will have your work cut out for you...literally...to put a 240/300 in a Maverick. It is much longer than the 200-250. You will probably have chop into the firewall and other big mods to get it in the engine bay. Having one would be radical and different from everyone else, but I'd have to say put in a mildly built 302 instead of a 240/300 six banger.

Ok...sorry about that link earlier, I just thought 240/300 meant 240 to 300 and having a 250 was the same. Lol I've been looking for parts wayyyy to long. Good luck on the build.:tiphat:
