I am going to swap out the front drums on my '73 Grabber, and I was thinking..unless it's already been done..I can take pictures along the way. I also have my '74 Grabber that was a factory disc brake car, and can compare everything along the way.
I've been searching out what I'll need, and I already have most of the parts, and what I don't have I'll order new anyways. Let me know what you all think.......

Sounds like a great idea. '74 is probably the perfect donor car too, since it has all the parts needed for a painless swap....

The 74 discs were unique to that year.
If you get the others, then the 74 might not be a good visual aid.

Correct me if I am wrong, but 74 was the year that used the Mustang 2 brakes.
The Granada brakes came in 75...

As far as I have ever seen....that just seems to be an Urban Legend.
I think there are no differences.

Although I cant say for sure whether I have or have not stripped a 74, of all the cars I have stripped, they were all the same.

I'll compare the disc's I have (I know they came off a 75) to the ones on my '74, I always thought they were the same? Maybe once you get into a power brake car they differ?

They're the same. '74 didn't use a proportioning valve though. That's the only difference....

I ordered all the new parts that I needed today, should all be here in the morning. Maybe I'll get started this weekend.
