Thanks fan2488, I have a garage now and 2 welders. Now I am going to have to get to welding on some pipes and maybe shock towers.

i have the passenger side done and installed all the way out the back. was not as bad as i thought. mainly just had to section the pieces to form different angles. then cut to length. have the drivers side done up to the rear end. this tail pipe might be a bit of a challenge. but i think i can do it. here is some pictures of the pipe right after the header before and after. the green tape is the amount that had to be removed. then rewelded and ground down.the middle pipe had no mods done to it, just shortened two inches. so if you wanted to stop at the rear axle this is a real easy mod. will take more pictures when done. the left over pieces can be used for a h-pipe if you like.

this is the final product on the passenger side. this tailpipe did not require as much modifying. it will look the same on the other side

its a hanger. all rebends were made by taking a slice out of the pipe and then welding.but you are right i am a rookie, its my first exhaust.

    Is that tire defective?
Or is your right foot just heavier than the tire? ;)

not sure if the car can even spin the tires.those are the old tires on the car. new ones not mounted yet. this total exhaust cost a little over $300.00 this includes the headers. the muffler shop where i was going to take it, was going to charge $1500.00. that was from the manifolds back with 2" mandrel bent pipe.

WOW!!!!! $1500!!!!!! I can see why you went that route. Is it mandrel bending that drives up the cost?

Man, I guess I forgot how much they were going to charge you for the exhaust system. I figured it'd be closer to $400 or so.

I guess I should stop "figuring".

Good luck on the driver side. You're almost home!

My dual exhaust was only $350 but they are not mandrel bends. I had the headers, mufflers, and X pipe in hand. They rest they made.

regular 2" exhaust was going to cost $400.00.thats from the exhaust manifolds back.since one of the manifolds was broke. thats why i went ahead and went this route a little over $300.00 for headers and 2 1/2" mandrel bent exhaust is alot better in my book. i did have to buy a small 45 degree bend today for $20.00,but that should finish it.
