Problem is These cars are scattered around the country. You seldom see more than one at any given show unless its a national one. I have seen a black Grabber before but I couldnt tell you if it was original or not. Best bet is to get the Marti Report. He can tell you how many were made with that color combination.

Don't you have the Marti Report for this car already? I have a copy at home he had sent me ... Thought the Marti Report says there were like 200+ Black Grabbers built ... don't remember for sure ...

Yes I have the report there were quite a few built , I guess my real question is are there any other ones that anyone knows of out there.

I'm not aware of anyone on this site ... or even in the club with a Black Grabber ... definitely the rarest color ..

Good that is what I wanted to here , that meens it is a keeper. I have never had a maverick before but have always like them , I had a friend in the 70s that raced one and I helped him out some. Wow lots of muscle cars under the bridge since then.

Several of us were looking at possibly purchasing that car ... but the seller had what appeared to be some older looking pictures and when additional pictures were requested (undercarriage, etc) ... he didn't send them. It was also in question whether that was the original paint job or not since the taillight panel paint style is definitely not factory. He said it was original paint but I wasn't sure if I believe him.

That is a cool car for sure ....

It is not 100% original paint probably 90% like I said it needs a paint job it is a nice driver for sure. The underside is good except for about 3 inch square under the back seat and it will need a few small patches on the quarters. I am sure as we all know once I get started I will find more.

I Seen A Black One Crushed Some Years Back, About 5 Yrs To Be Exact, And I Snapped A Picture Of It And Didnt Even Realize It Was A Grabber Until The Other Day. In The Picture, The Car Is Only About 16 Inches Tall  SOME PEOPLE JUST HAVE NO IDEA :slap:
