Help the carburetor moron!

    P.S.--i like that post about the no carburetor too big...it's a good point. I guy i used to work with had a friend with a "fairly" modified 302, and he ran a dominator on it. The funny thign was that it idled like crap (if you could call it idling), but man when that thing revved up....

    Dose anyone in here know how to a just the carb for the 250 ci 76 maverick. it seems to be running a little rich and im new to this stuff.

    i run a 750 hp holley double pumper on my 308. works great. those d0 heads are 1970 and are probably just as good or better than the d7's. even if they came off of a 94 stang they are not original for it. if i was going to change i'd save up and go for a set of aluminum heads.:)

    Yep, but that doesn't address the rate it takes to get to 6000 rpm, which is the whole point with performance parts.
