Looks like the Motor Sports Festival is that weekend like last year. Also looks like Little Leaque will be playing again also.

    That would be correct.

We need to find out if there is going to be another local cruise-in Friday or Saturday night. Last year we crashed their cruise-in with about 10-12 Mavericks but it was unplanned. I'd really love to crash a cruise-in with 30-40 Mavericks.

I have been thinking about checking into that....
PLUS, I was wondering if anybody would be interested in a actual "cruise".
I know folks are showing up all week and we have no "set" plans until Thursday, other than bike ride on Wednesday.....
Would anyone be interested in me mapping out a 30-50 miles cruise we could take around 7 or 8 at night on Tuesday or Wednesday?

    :hmmm: hmmm lets see.....
    New Castle 2003:
Gave Neal, Dennis and Nick a ride in the mav. Open headers and
no passenger seat. Pooring the coals to it.

    New Castle 2004:
Cruised to Knightstown, was getting ready to pull up next to
Mr. Moore and do a little engine test, but the police man was
coming the other way. Saw him at the last minute.
    Owensboro 2005:
Left Texas Roadhouse afterdark. No lights. Dennis was my
headlights and Nick was my brake lights. Did that for about 20
    city blocks.
    Owensboro 2006:
To early to tell, but I am sure I will do something to warrant a

I am a new Maverick owner with some questions , how many cars usually show up at the roundup and is there a swapmeet , also is everything at one location as far as the race and show. The car isn't up to the trip yet but it could be a nice cruise with the Mustang vert to see some cars and meet some people.

Check out the gallery under the 12th annual roundup for pics. All the activities are within a short drive of the host hotel in the Owensboro, Ky. Generally there are a few parts for sale. If you are looking for something in particular it might be a good idea to place a parts wanted post and with any luck pick it up at the roundup.

Last year there was 43 cars. The drag strip is about 20 minutes away from the show. We have a very small swap area, Its usually somebody's flat bed trailer. If you need something in particular, post it and maybe somebody can bring one. I mostly only bring what is already sold.
