"but i want that type of rumble that you feel in your chest."

first you need a moter that can "make that sound" and then run it out the exhaust. the sound you are talking about is "POWER" (y).
not like a Honda with a "fart can" exhaust :yikes: ...frank...:bouncy:

Frank, didn't you know that adding "NOS" stickers to your car makes it faster?

I figure you already know, but I'll just throw this out there...
Mufflers so close to the heat of the headers have much shorter lives than when placed downstream where the exhaust gasses are cooler.

Again, I'm sure you are aware, but it's a tid-bit others might want to consider.

i have a set of hooker headers..... 2.5" pipes all the way out the back to the corners behind the rear wheels and 2 flowmaster 40 series mufflers..

it sounds AWESOME... it is a little loud.. but not as loud as glass packs are..

That is true. That brings me to a story, we kept giving this guy with a mail delivery car a hard time because he had a huge wing and he swore it took a second off of his time, even tho he had never ran it before he got the wing.

So then we told him that my friends 240 would run a 10 flat with it,

I know its been a while for this thread.

I have came up with a great idea. i was looking on the magnaflow website and they didnt have a maverick system. so i searched in their site and found out were they take suggestions for catback systems. I thought that there should be a company that makes a complete system for our cars. So if enough people write to magna flow then they might make a system for the mavericks.

i only bring this up because the only place were i find a system that is not custom is on sumit and its the cheap stuff.

Maybe i am ina farytale land??? i dunno

The mav is gone but i'm still here!
I ordered some mufflers from them about a month and a half and i still havent recieved them:mad:
as for the cat back...who still has a cat on?
there are also many things to consider like the different tanks they use, shorty or long tube headers, then how the angle of the tips will differ between the big and small bumpers....

...just rent a welder or borrow one and :smash:make it fit.
