I just got back from a fun filled weekend at the Monterey Historics at Laguna Seca. I drove my Maverick round trip of almost a 1000 miles with the Boss 302 Registry guys. The Maverick didn't miss a beat & ran flawlessly. I can't say the same of all of the Boss 302s. Four of us drove up North & met the Northern Cal BoyZ... Here's a few pics for your enjoyment. The first picture depicts one of the Boss 302s losing the power steering ram off of the frame mount.
The 1967 Mustang NHRA champion & record holder. It was hard to get a good pic, as the tent was very crowded.
And finally, the original David Pearson 1968 Nascar Champion Torino fresh out of its' restoration. The information board stated that the car was recently found in a barn in Oregon & it's restoration just completed. It's the ole barn story again...
"Hey Betty, Where did you park my multi-million dollar GT40?" "I just put it next to the shed honey."
