My friends next door neighbor is working on a '88 Mustang GT. He is putting aluminum heads on it and gave the original heads to my friend. My friend who has never owned a Ford in his life, called me today and said he had some heads off a Mustang and if I wanted them I better come get them.

They have the stamped steel rockers that screw in. They have about 30,000 miles on them since they were rebuilt. I guess if I ever use them they would be going on an '85 Lincoln Town Car 302...

    E7TE heads any good?

What do you mean by good?

For performance, they aren't the worst castings, and a lot of budget minded guys try and port them. It takes a lot of work, and although the results can be pretty good, they still pale compared to good aftermarket heads.

For a stock daily driver? Yeah, they're good heads.

I mean good, as in worth worth keeping or should I just junk 'em. I'm not an expert on V8 heads, but I know there are certain ones that people look for for various reasons.

Think I may throw 'em on ebay...

They are worth keeping if you plan on using them. Not really sure how to answer that question. What are you trying to do?

Somebody will buy em on ebay. They are pretty common, though, and shipping gets expensive.
