Indoor All ford car show in Ft.Worth called the yellow rose. I go every year hoping to see crowns or Mavericks/comets, 3 crowns last year, none this year  , 1 maverick ever until this year :yippee: there were 2, a white 72 maverick set up for drags and a red/black stallion, as I read the info on the stallion I realized it was Jean Doll's car she just sold, kinda sad because I knew she didn't want to sell it and i can see why. didn't meet the new owner or the owner of the other mav. either, Both cars were nice!

This is the other Maverick that was there. It is mine. It was my first car show and had a great time. I received lots of compliments on the car and won a class trophy. Although it is a lot of work detailing a race car for an indoor car show, I will try to be back next year.

Nice cars guys. Thanks for the pic's. I sure wish they had some indoor shows around here during the summer. It's 98*F w/100% humidity outside. I have not started or driven my Maverick in over a month.

mmv06 ,I really liked your car, I think I remember seeing you there but wasn't sure if you were the owner, Do you have any pictures with the hood, doors, & trunk closed, I know at shows they are open but I like to see the cars closed up to see the way they would be on the street

These were taken sometime last year. I wish I would have taken more pics at the show under the lights. My son and I spent about 7 hrs the Sunday before the show cleaning the paint with a clay bar and waxing it. Our efforts really paid off because under the lights the paint looked very deep and shiny. I plan on doing some more testing and tuning in a couple of weeks at Texas Raceway in Kennedale TX. I really built it to race but dad talked me into the car show thing. Im glad he did. Anyway thanks for all the compliments. :D

I think I've seen that car before! When are you going to TXR? I work the starting line on Wed nights, so it's neat when Ford's come out. I have the best seat in the house.
